Alistair's portrait

Alistair McKechnie,
London-based copywriter

B2B, IT AND CONSUMER. ADS, DM AND ONLINE.
BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS.

My 20 years' copywriting experience is divided about 50:50 between South Africa and London, at agencies such as Y&R, JWT and top DM shops OgilvyOne and Tequila. I've also done plenty of freelance work with various SMEs.

And if you're in the IT world, you'll be interested to know that I worked on IBM for eight years and SAP for four.

Awards won along the way include a Cannes Bronze Lion, a New York Ad Festival Gold and a WPP Worldwide First Prize.

I've also had my fair share of sold-out launches, 50%-plus response rates and ecstatic marketing managers.
